Dentist Visit

I been working on family album - we had a Dentist visit & I decided to make some stuff for that
the inkscape file doens't have the "big" tooth - I just delete the "nodes" in the center of the tooth so I had a journeling spot

Ribbon Storage

a friend (Linda Guild) commented on storing ribbon so she made these things to put the ribbon on instead of the spools that always come unravel - I asked for a file, she told me to make one so here it is

I was working on some odd characters that I might want for the next set of albums - I could seeing doing up one of these for the Gopher thing in line for Pooh ride - but see there is really no telling which one would work the best so I did 2 facing each way & one standing up

now for the without the ink pen work so you can see which lines you really need to fill in

someone has turned in some of my files as either having copyright issuses or having a virus. If I get one more of these then 4share will block my account.

if you want the files get them quickly, I sent a note asking why so I'm not sure what they will do. I hate not knowing if it was a virus that somehow got attacht or if someone is turning me in because they don't like SCAL(which is possible- I really could see some of the MB people doing this)

anyone have another place that I can post the files?? I"m off to work for now

Disney trip then back to school

Just in case someone was wondering where I have been, we left here on the 17, stopped at a zoo & a muesum - took our time getting to Disney, arrived at All Star Movies on 20 (got to MK in time for opening) left on 27 & I went back to work on the 29. This last week I have been working on sorting pics getting them label/tagged.

Next up is printing the ones I need then see what pages I still need to make. We are planning on going back spring or fall 2013 so I'll still need to make pages for that trip but I'll slow down since I got over a year and half for them.

I decided that I really didn't like the globe so I change it up so there is a choice of this really big circle, a small oval or 4 smaller retangles in the middle of the globe - the SCAL2 has them each on a different page while the inkscape has them lined up (so delete what you don't want to use)

Kidcot Book

I decided to make a book for the kidcot people to sign - I know I need each country - anything else that ya can think of?? I'm using my World Showcase Mickey & friends except for France - that one had Mickey & Minnie together so that didn't work.

Canada is the only one I got done so far - but everything else is set up to go including the pages with the holes in them - if you decide to use pattern paper I have it set so you get the left & right on the same page. so no worrying about flipping the paper

The picture part is set for 3.5x5 picture - the signing area is the same so you could change that up - I didn't include the boxes for the picture

here is a close up of the camel border -- the camels came from Zoologic font - the palm tree is off the summer shapes on SCAL2

I had someone ask me about this file -- it was before I got SCAL2 so what I did was make sure everything fit smaller than the black then made sure my height was the same size then put in different files with the black (have the black cut once then move it over & cut the other parts -- delete other parts but ssave black add the next file - line up the blacks & make sure they match - then cut the 2nd group of other parts -- for as many groups as you want)

I found a drawing with 12 Mickeys on it so I did them all up
I think they turned out very cute

the "Title" was kinda a pain to do - just the brown - that is all one part & getting them to lay right was the pain
the Sun color behind the green so you have to add in the middle of the letters (look close at the "A"s "R"s & "O")

I added aother page that has the "stripes" that match Mickey & Minnies (stripes on both sides) & have photo mats cut, ink & ribbon so I can add or leave out depending on how many pictures I want to add

took pics before adding ribbon but you can see what I mean - it is only the one page

Now Minnie - I decided to flip her - the files have her going the same way as the boys.

this is how she looked on the computer - when you are piecing this is what you are aiming for unless you want to flip (then you glue everything backwards)
the red dot truck part has to go on top of the white truck but don't glue the "trailer" railings& boxes down until you have the green & blue "bags" glued into place
I think the yellow with the Mickey head is a frame but I really have no idea what it really is

You need to glue the word "Jungle" down onto the blue then add the Red "E" - the bottom of the E has a spot to fit into (as does the "dot" of the I & the 's) I got this from a Pin
next if figuring out what goes with it ;)

I'm hopping to join in a blog hop tomorrow so I hope this works for their post - if you are one of the blog hoppers Hi!!! -For the hoppers info - I do scrapbooks (for Disney World - at least 4 ablums per visit & usually pre-scrap)
I use Sure Cuts A Lot & make my cuts from coloring books mostly but lately I have used Disney pins to get the designs. These should be under Disney Copyright so no selling (if you want to buy - send the money to Disney) If you have SCAL2 then you can upload the SCAL2 file & then cut it at your house with your cricut. all other programs should be able to use the inkscape file.
I pre-scrap so you won't see pics (unless it is something that I had pics for) My stuff is set for 3.5x5 & 5x7 pics (since that is what I can print at home without wasting paper)
if anyone sees a pin that they love & think it would be great please send me a pic

The horseback riding page used a font called - Captian Howdy (western with the winter wonderland font combine - I really like this one)
the soccer - I actually used a cricut cart - sports mania (figure I better since I got the thing & have only used it a couple of times - actually I think my sister has used it more than I have)

BB Gator & Mad Tea Party

What was I thinking when I did this one up?? Ok start with the yellow then add the skiis, boots, tail end, then the bottom you have to put the 2 colors together,then work your way up to the face
the face is the biggest pain, put the pink(tongue) on top of the white(eyes & teeth), then add the bottom jag/lip(lt purple here) then add the "head"

the back ski handle is connect to the hat - the first purle stripe on hat

Good luck on this one - I did this up before Chirstmas & then couldn't find it
since there was a request - I looked very hard for it - Ya are going to wish I just redid it

What I got done yesterday after I posted
not sure when I'll post again - hubby off the next 4 days & my sister requested a doll so I have to get hair sewed on her (& see if I have some clothes for the nake thing & get her arms on her)

I kinda thought this was great as is - if you want simple then just cut the stripe & body of the Monorail.
I did this so you can change the color of the stripe to which color you want since Disney makes the different ones with a different color stripe so they can tell them apart easily(got to give Disney credit for thinking of things like that)

the boader I got from someone else & I'm trying to find where to give ya the link (if someones knows please please please post it) - I actually cut out six of theses - that was how many I could fit on a 12x12 page of the black & red (red is actually the base) yellow only took 4x12 to make the 6 boarders - I did turn half them so they go the other way so they mirror the way it is suppose to go.

This one is alittle hard to do
for the top glue down the red, then the yellow, then the green
Then glue down Mickey & Minnie - I didn't want to deal with lots of little bitty parts so I made the poles go on top of them so they need to be glued after you get Mickey & Minnie on
The dark red around the bottom of the Trolley goes on top of the green
In the LO pic you can see how I inked this with a black pen (gold around the trolley main part)
that really helps donald look like he has hand up by his face pouting. (guess he wanted to run instead of ride)

the coral is off of Life's a beach cart - I did weld the boarder together to get it to go across the bottom of the page then cut 2 of 2 different sizes in several colors & used the excess for this LO

The ones I downloaded didn't
tried emailing them to myself - that didn't work

They work on the computer I did them on

Maharajah trek & Mickey's for worldshowcase

I went to Mardenz Blog & found ShereKhan & Mogli & thought they were great - but they had alot of "nodes" so I played around with them & got them to where I like them - hers will be sharper edges but take a long time to cut & things aren't connected even tho they are almost touching (I really hate having very small parts) - she does have alot more of the characters if you are wanting them.
